Rektor Žilinskej univerzity v Žiline (ďalej aj „rektor" a „UNIZA") v zmysle § 10 ods. 5 zákona č. 131/2002 Z.z. o vysokých školách a o zmene a doplnení niektorých zákonov v znení neskorších predpisov (ďalej len „zákon o VŠ") a v zmysle čl. 2 ods. 5 Smernice č. 233 – Zásady voľby kandidáta na rektora a prijatia návrhu na odvolanie rektora Žilinskej univerzity v Žiline (ďalej len „zásady voľby kandidáta na rektora", po schválení Volebným zhromaždením dňa 1.12.2025 vyhlasuje voľbu kandidáta na rektora Žilinskej univerzity v Žiline na funkčné obdobie od 03.07.2026 do 02.07.2030.

Announcing the election of a candidate for the rector of the University of Zilina for the term of office 2026-2030

The Rector of the University of Žilina (hereinafter referred to as the "Rector" and "UNIZA") in accordance with Section 10 (5) of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and on the Amendment of Certain Acts, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Higher Education Act") and in accordance with Article 2 (5) of Directive No. 233 – Principles of Election of a Candidate for Rector and Acceptance of a Proposal for the Dismissal of the Rector of the University of Žilina (hereinafter referred to as the "Principles of Election of a Candidate for Rector", after approval by the Electoral Assembly on 1.12.2025, announces the election of a candidate for the Rector of the University of Žilina for the term of office from 03.07.2026 to 02.07.2030.
