Stručný popis: 14. ročník konferencie zameranej na využitie geosyntetických materiálov v dopravnom staviteľstve a v environmentálnych stavbách sa uskutoční na Stavebnej fakulte Žilinskej univerzity v Žiline. Konferencia nadväzuje na predošlé ročníky organizované v Žiline. Nad konferenciou, ktorú organizujú spoločne Katedra geotechniky SvF (KGt) a Katedra železničného staviteľstva a traťového hospodárstva (KŽSTH), prevezme záštitu dekan SvF ŽU v Žiline prof. Ing. Marián Drusa, PhD. Už tradične sa toto podujatie bude konať v spolupráci so slovenskou pobočkou Medzinárodnej geosyntetickej spoločnosti (IGS Slovakia) a ďalšími partnermi. Témy tohtoročnej konferencie zahŕňajú:

• Projekty stavieb s využitím geosyntetických materiálov,
• Nové geosyntetické výrobky a materiály, ich vlastnosti a použitie v praxi,
• Stav technických predpisov a pripravované nové štandardy pre oblasť geosyntetiky,
• Skúsenosti z realizovaných stavieb s použitím geosyntetiky,
• Kvalitatívne požiadavky pri prácach s geosyntetikou, manažment kvality dopravných a environmentálnych stavieb,
• Výsledky výskumu a vývoja v oblasti geosyntetiky,
• Vzdelávanie odborníkov a študentov.

The 14th annual conference focused on the use of geosynthetic materials in transport and environmental structures will take place at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Žilina. The conference builds on previous issues organized in Žilina. The conference is organized together by the Department of Geotechnics and the Department of Railway Engineering and Track Management under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering prof. Ing. Marian Drusa, PhD. in cooperation with the Slovak office of the International Geosynthetic Society (IGS Slovakia) and other partners. This year's conference topics include:

• Geosynthetic materials in construction projects,
• New geosynthetic products and materials, their properties, and use in practice,
• Status of technical regulations and new standards being prepared for the field of geosynthetics,
• Experience from practice,
• Qualitative requirements for work with geosynthetics, quality management of transport and environmental constructions,
• Results of research and development in the field of geosynthetics,
• Education of experts and students.
