Stručný popis: Kultúrne dedičstvo je fenomén každého národa. Starostlivosť oň, jeho ochrana, rozvíjanie a prezentácia patria k prioritám spoločenského života. Nové média sa stali absolútne základným prostriedkom na vnímanie kultúry vo všetkých podobách a jej okamžitého prenosu na všetky generácie. Kultúrne dedičstvo je sprostredkované nielen prostredníctvom médií ale aj pamäťových inštitúcií, ktoré dlhé roky zastávajú dôležité miesto v rovine uchovávania a prezentácie kultúry národa. Aké možnosti ponúkajú súčasné nové média na prezentáciu kultúrneho dedičstva? Ako môže k zachovávaniu kultúry prispievať kreatívny priemysel? Akú formu kultúrneho dedičstva môžeme zanechať ďalším generáciám? Na tieto a ďalšie otázky sa bude zameriavať konferencia, ktorá poníma kultúrne dedičstvo z viacerých pohľadov.

Cultural heritage is a phenomenon of every nation. Taking care of it, its protection, development and presentation are among the priorities of social life. New media have become an absolutely essential means of perceiving culture in all its forms and its immediate transmission to all generations. The cultural heritage is mediated not only through the media, but also by memory institutions, which have long been an important place in the preservation and presentation of the culture of the nation. What possibilities do the current new media offer to present the cultural heritage? How can the creative industry contribute to the preservation of culture? What form of cultural heritage can we leave to future generations? These and other questions will be addressed by a conference that perceives the cultural heritage from multiple perspectives.
